Exploring Line

1. What was it like using your hand as subject matter for a drawing? It was weird using my hand as a subject because I have never drawn body parts before and I found this very difficult.

2. What media did you select - pencil or charcoal? Why? I choose pencil because I feel comfortable drawing with pencil and I do not feel comfortable using charcoal.

3. How did it feel to create a drawing with your non-dominant hand? It was really difficult because I don’t use that hand for anything really and the muscles are not developed that well so my hand started to cramp after oinly a couple minutes.

4. Compare and contrast your final drawings. Do you think they are successful studies?I would think they were successful studies in that they were completed and done the way they were suppose to but I do not thing they are very good.

5. Would you consider using your non-dominant hand to create artwork in the future? I would definitely not use my non-dominant hand to complete artwork at all.
